Sorry for another week without Name Game. The way this week was layed out was really shit. I was flying on Tuesday of last week and Wednesday of this week… I mean yesterday… I mean today… fuck what day is it? I’ve been up since 4am EST.
Anyway, my sister got married and it was a lovely wedding. I love my family. I really do. But sometimes THEY JUST DON’T UNDERSTAAAAAND. In this case it’s my skin color.My family and I tend to get nice Italian tans come summer. Since I’ve discovered video games, art and other indoor activities my tan has kind of… faded. They were sure to let me know of this.

I feel your pain! Everytime I visit family, I havent seen in a long time , they tell the same thing! “Your too pale ! “”Get some V-D ! “Stop your drawing and go outside and play like normal teens do !” (Grandma talking to my Mom:)”Hun why is your daughter so pale? Is she sick?”

yeah, I discovered videogames long ago, but this summer I had to get a job that required me to be outside and use coppertone sunscreen. Threw my ass off when I pulled my shirt off one day and saw that I was tan.

A guy who lives inside of his house, leeching off his significant other, is afraid of sunlight, and only leaves at night in search of more food.
I feel your pain, I really do. I get the same problem with relatives on my dads side. As a kid, I was a little brown boy running around outside 24/7. As an adult. I’m a hibernating nerd who tans in front of his monitor and hisses at the once friendly sun.
And boy oh boy, do the relatives sure let you know about how white you’ve gotten. I tend to use the “Trying to go for the Micheal Jackson look” excuse.
